- Auto-renewing 1-Month Membership (current members): For current members, please note, if you decide to pause or cancel your membership, and then wish to renew or unpause at a later date, you will be able to do so at the higher rate. Members that continue to book their membership without canceling or pausing, will continue to be grandfathered in at their current rate.

3-Month Membership Perks: 3-month memberships will enjoy 10% off in our café (excluding alcohol), and 10% off Genius Gems merchandise (e.g. Glitter Tile merchandise or Candy Tiles), 10% off on weekday morning classes for little ones (2-5 year olds), and $100 off a Premier party or Elite Drop Off. These discounts are available while your membership is active only.
Who is included in my membership price?
A basic membership allows you and the number of kids / adults selected from the drop down menu to visit Genius Gems NYC for one time slot per day, for 30 days from the purchase of the membership. The cost for a one-month recurring membership starts at $165 + tax (for one child and one adult ONLY) and includes one visit per day.
What if I wish to add more than 1 adult and 1 kid to my membership?
If you wish to add additional kids or adults, you must pay for them from the drop down menu. $165 + tax ONLY includes 1 adult and 1 kid, if you wish to add more adults or kids, there is a higher cost to the membership as indicated below.
Do I have to make a reservation? How does membership work?
Yes, all members must book a time slot, up to one time slot a day. Once you purchase a membership, you will be automatically emailed your family's unique code.
This code will entitle you to book your tickets for 1 adult and 1 child. If you purchase a membership for additional kids or adults on the drop down menu below, you code will be the equivalent of the number of guests you indicate in the drop down menu.
You must adjust and pay for the number of adults/kids on the drop down menu, otherwise, only 1 adult and 1 child will be covered under your membership, and you must pay for tickets for any other guests if you have not selected additional kids or adults on the drop down menu.
Member spots must be reserved in advance under "Tickets." Additional guests not included in the membership will need to pay for tickets. Certain blackout dates and times apply.
Can I book for a time after my membership expires?
No. Your membership must be active during the time of your visit. Booking a reservation without an active membership will lead to canceling your reservation. Repeated violation of this policy will lead to permanent cancellation of your membership at Genius Gems.
Your membership ONLY includes the adult / child(ren) listed on the membership at the time of the purchase. It is not transferable to friends or other family members. Violation of this policy will result in termination of your membership.
Important:
Genius Gems Millburn membership is not valid in NYC. Each location has their own membership program.
Membership is not a drop-off program. Children must be supervised by their adult at all times. Members that are not adequately supervising their children may be asked to leave the membership program. If you do not receive your code within 1 hour of purchasing a membership, please email information@geniusgems.com.
What if I wish to cancel my membership?
Your membership can only be cancelled by YOU on your end before the next billing cycle. If your membership renews, will we not be able to cancel it on our end until the next billing cycle.
Members that violate our policies, or members that do not follow our rules, or members that are not adequately supervising their child, may not be able to return or continue as members at Genius Gems.
Memberships as of 3/27/24
- We're now introducing both a one month recurring and a 3-Month Membership option!
- If you would like your membership to cover additional adults or children, the cost is $150 + tax per additional person for the three month duration, or $100 + tax per person for the one month recurring membership.
- We no longer offer 30 Day Memberships
- Auto-Renewing 1-Month Memberships: If you currently have an auto-renewing 1-month membership, you can continue to enjoy it. Just remember, if you decide to cancel, do so before the next renewal period. Once you cancel though, you will no longer be eligible for a one month membership at the current price. You will have the option to book a one month membership at our new price, or book the 3 month membership.
What's Included
- A basic membership allows your family (1 adult plus one kid) to visit Genius Gems NYC for one time slot per day, for 3 months from the purchase of the membership (for 3 month members), or each month for the recurring membership. Slime, additional Design Bar tokens, snacks, classes, camps, etc. are an additional cost for members. Membership includes one Design Bar token per visit! Your membership must be active at the time of your visit.
- 3-Month Membership Perks Only: 3-month memberships will enjoy 10% off in our café (excluding alcohol), 10% off Genius Gems merchandise (e.g. Glitter Tile merchandise or Candy Tiles), 10% off on Little Genius Classes, and $100 off a Premier party or Elite Drop Off. These discounts are available while your membership is active only.
- Please note, unfortunately, we are not able to switch membership subscription types in the middle of the cycle. When your membership is set to renew, you may switch to another plan. No refunds or credits will be offered for changing plans.
How it Works
- The cost for a 3-month membership is $420.75 + tax for ONE ADULT AND ONE CHILD and includes one visit per day for the three month period. You can save 10% for signing up for a recurring monthly billing, cancel at any time before your next month's payment. The one month recurring membership costs $165 + tax for ONE ADULT and ONE CHILD.
You may add additional adults and kids at checkout for an additional cost. - If you decide to become members after your first visit, you can apply up to $50 if your ticket purchase towards the membership. Unfortunately, we will not be able to apply more than that amount.
- Once you purchase a membership, you will be automatically emailed your family's unique code. This code will entitle you to book your tickets for the included amount of adults and children for no additional cost. If you do not receive your code within 1 hour of purchasing a membership, please email information@geniusgems.com.
- Member spots must be reserved in advance under "Tickets." Additional guests not included in the membership will need to pay for tickets when they visit with you. Certain blackout dates and times apply for field trips and private events.
