Engineering and Maker Lab (1st-2nd Grade)
Step into the imaginative world of engineering and artistry! This course invites budding engineers and creatives to explore the fusion of artistic design, inventive thinking, and engineering through a diverse range of hands-on projects. Using Tinkercad, LEDs, motors, and hands-on engineering projects, students will dive into the magic of LEDs, circuitry, batteries, magnetism, and motors! The projects will be different from the previous semester.
Creative Engineering (2nd-4th):
In this course, students will explore the intersection of art and engineering! They will design their own LED light up creations, they will apply art to their engineering projects, and create their own maker projects using 3D printers, LED circuits, batteries, fabric, and the engineering and design process.
Tech Creator Lab (3rd-6th grade)
Step into the future with our Tech Creator Lab, a dynamic course designed to ignite the imaginations and technical skills of 3rd to 6th graders! This innovative class offers a holistic STEM experience, with a focus on engineering and hands-on projects. From constructing a motorized bot and coding it, to strengthening Autocad skills to grow 3D printing skills, students will work on an array of cutting-edge projects! We'll dive into robotics, and learn how to build a robot, and we will learn about the engineering and design process. This course is open to new and continuing students that meet the grade level requirements.
