Celebrate your birthday at Genius Gems, for your best birthday yet! 

 Our talented team will lead you and your guests in a 1.5 hour celebration that features the best that Genius Gems has to offer.

Parties are best suited for ages 5/6 and older. In order to ensure a limited number of people, all parties are DROP OFF, except for the birthday host parents. If you would like more than 8 parents to stay, you must book the premier plus party package. 
Please note, as of September 6, 2022, masks will be optional, unless there is a COVID surge and Essex County is considered high risk, at which time masks may be required. Please read more about our COVID-19 safety here. 

Premier Package ($550): The Premier Package costs $550 and includes the following:
  • Up to 16 kids included in the package. It is highly recommended that parties of more than 16 should book the Premier Plus Package. 
  • If there are more than 16 kids attending, you will be charged $30 per child for any additional kids on the day of the party. 
  • All activities are indoors, and eating will be outside on our terrace.
  • Choice of one individually wrapped ice cream treat (e.g., ice cream sandwich, water ice, or ice cream cup) for every child. 
  • 1 premium project per child, either an engineering project or slime. 
  • Magnetic tile building and robot stations if time allows. 
  • Pizza and juice are included for kids only and provided by Genius Gems. 
  • No outside food is permitted except for cupcakes. The host family can provide cupcakes or cake. 
  • All eating will take place outdoors, unless it is too cold, rainy or snowy to eat outside, in which case we will eat indoors. 

    Premier Plus Package: $1,399 for up to 20 kids (drop off preferred, ages 5/6 and up). Rent out all of Genius Gems for just your guests. The cost is $1,399 and includes everything in the Premier Package, plus the ability to have the entire Genius Gems (indoors and outdoors) for just your guests. All eating must take place outdoors. No indoor eating is permitted at this time. Please note, all food in the package is included for kids only. Additional kids can be added for a cost of $30 per additional child for up to 35 kids with prior approval (Premier Plus only).

    Drop off only is still preferred for Premier Plus packages, but if you plan to have all the parents stay, you must choose this package. No outside food is permitted except for cake or cupcakes. There may be a clean up charge for families that bring additional food.     Once you book a party, your receipt is confirmation that your party has been booked. You will receive an email the Monday before your party to confirm the project and the number of guests.

    Party Project Options (Premier and Premier Plus packages only)

    Please choose one of the following: 

    Light Up Wand, DIY Flashlight, or an LED project (Parrot, Robot, Pokéball, Flower, Unicorn) (Best for ages 6-8) Our staff will lead the birthday child and their friends in creating an LED light circuit using an LED light and a coin cell battery. Once they complete the circuit, they can decorate a wooden wand or project with gems and paint markers to their liking. After decorating, they’ll attach their light to create an LED light up project! 

    Slime (Best for ages 6-12) Our staff will lead the birthday child and their friends to combine glue, colored water, and liquid starch to make slime! They also have the option of choosing two add-ins: colored glitter and/or foam beads. (Depending on availability, there is an option of choosing glow-in-the-dark or color-changing powder to slime for an additional cost) 

    DIY Glitter Tile (Best for ages 6-9) Our team will lead the birthday child and friends in decorating their own glitter tile that will stick to any brand of magnetic tiles. Each child will receive their own glitter tile, and a choice of gems, charms, glitter and name letters to decorate the tile. 

    Motorized Fan (Best for ages 9-12) Our staff will lead the birthday child and their friends in creating a motor circuit with a battery pack and a motorized fan. After making their circuit, they can decorate the tube that the circuit will go through with gems and paint markers. Then, insert their circuit and attach glow forge pieces for the top and bottom of the tube to finish their DIY fan!

    Crazy LEGO® Bot (Best for ages 8-12) Our staff will lead the birthday child and their friends in creating a circuit with a battery pack and a motor. They will put together materials like a LEGO base, Genius Gems brick tracks and wooden laser cut pieces to test out different shaped wheels. Then, by attaching their motor circuit on top, they will have a wacky LEGO® bot! 

    Spin Art Machine (Best for ages 9-12) Our staff will lead the birthday child and their friends in creating a motor circuit with a battery pack and a motorized fan. They will attach their circuit to a glow forge base and add a base for their paper on top of the fan. Then they can tape a piece of paper on top, turn on their circuit, and make some spin art!
