NYC Classes Winter 2023

Winter 2023 STEM Classes at Genius Gems NYC! 

We are offering Kitchen Chemistry Lab, Coding and Robotics, Engineering, and Lego Engineering Lab for our award-winning after school program at Genius Gems NYC!

Local School Pick Up Options (Beginning February 6):

We will be offering pick up from PS 41 and PS 340, and stay and play after or before class until 5:15 PM, beginning February 6, for no additional charge. 

Pick ups will be offered from other schools as well (coming soon). Send us an email at information@geniusgems.com and copy your parent coordinator if you are interested in having your school added to the pick up list. 

Dates and Information: 

All classes run for 7 weeks and begin the first full week of February. Sign up by February 1st and save 10% with our early discount WINTER23NYC. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any discounts after February 1, 2023. 

Please see the following class schedule: 

• Monday classes: February 6-March 27 (no class 2/20)
• Tuesday classes: February 7-March 28 (no class 2/21)
• Wednesday classes: February 8-March 29 (no class 2/22)
• Thursday classes: February 9-March 30 (no class 2/23)
• Friday classes: February 10-March 31 (no class on 2/24) 

No class on the following dates (these are already factored into the above calendar):

• February break: February 20-24

Makeup Policy:

Families can arrange up to one makeup per class session for a missed class. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate more than one makeup class per session. Makeups must be scheduled before the end of the terms. No refunds or credits will be offered for missed classes. Holidays are already factored into the schedule. 

Cancellation Policy: 

Please review our cancellation policy prior to enrolling. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make exceptions to our policy.

Pick Up and Drop Off: 

All pick up and drop off will be at the entrance to Genius Gems on 6th Avenue between 15th and 16th streets. Students must be checked in before being dropped off. We also offer membership or a discounted drop-in price for families with siblings that wish to play at Genius Gems while their sibling is in a class. If you are interested in having your school be a pick up location in the future, please email us at information@geniusgems.com with your school name and request.
