Our experience during busy peak times is best suited for ages 4 and older. One of our main rules at Genius Gems is no knocking projects down (even a project you built yourself!) and we expect everyone that comes into our space to follow our rules in order to create a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. Sometimes children under 4 have difficulty with this rule, but you know your child best! If you think that they will enjoy the activities we have to offer and be able to respect our rules, they're welcome to come. We do have Friday morning Little Genius classes that are designed specifically for younger children at a quieter time.

Yes! As long as they are accompanying an older sibling. Tickets are not required for children under 2 if they are accompanying an older sibling. If your child under two would like to come without a sibling, then they will need a ticket.

According to our cancellation policy, we cannot grant refunds. If you are unable to attend your reservation, please email us at information@geniusgems.com. We can reschedule your visit or give you a credit to use towards future purchases.

No-- we require that custumers reserve their tickets online in advance. We do not offer tickets for sale in store. This is because there are disclaimers that must be agreed to when purchasing tickets, and we have to know how many people to expect in the space so that we are keeping the space at a safe capacity. Also, occasionally we do have private events and block off tickets at certain times, so we want to ensure you come when we are available! 

Yes! Every person 2 years or older needs a ticket-- even if you aren't participating in the activities. Our space has a limited safe capacity, and we use tickets to keep track! Plus, we find Genius Gems is not just for kids - we encourage adults to build amazing structures and make their own Glitter Tiles, too!

We ask that all of our guests try to stick to their time slot as closely as possible. We rely on the 30 minute period between time slots in order to refresh the space for the next group. You will still be admitted if you are late! However, please be advised that on busy days you may still be asked to leave at the end of your time slot so that there is adequate time to clean and prepare the space. We also do have private events from time to time, and the space will close for a private event at the designated time, so you may have a shortened session if you arrive late. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer refunds or credits if you arrive late.

No, we do not allow outside cakes or cupcakes in our general admission experience; we only allow it in our party room during birthday parties that we host through our standard party packages offered on the website. We cannot accommodate gifts or singing happy birthday, unless it is in our party room for a scheduled birthday party. Unfortunately, we do not permit outside pizza or food deliveries either.
